The Kamrowski connection with Luigi's started in 1985 when one of my sisters came to college in River Falls and as she out it " ordered a LOT of Luigi's Pizza". Her Boyfriend actually got me my 1st Luigi's food...a turkey Hoagie. In 1986 another sister came to UWRF and she started working at Luigi's and then in 1991 I also traveled to River Falls to start college and was delivering Pizzas 2 days after moving in. I bought Luigi's in 1996, my than Girlfriend now Wife moved up here shortly after and we threw our kids into the mix and became the Mom-n-Pop place that we are today.

When the Shutdown happened during the Corona Virus Pandemic I went from working an obscene amount of hours to an unbelievable amount of hours...quite honestly during the winter of 2020 Looking at the same 4 walls was finally getting to me and I needed to either find or get back to something that could take my brain to another place and give me some repose from Luigi's Luigi's Luigi's and so I decided to get back to my country roots and get me a pig or 2 for Therapy and to stock the freezer...well life happening like life happens I ended up with 6 wonderful pigs. There is no way my family can eat 6 whole pigs so we got them butchered and used the meat at Luigis in what we call our Farm-to-Fork Pork....and it BLEW UP!!!it BLEW UP!!!
The taste profile from Heritage pigs growing on pasture in the sunshine eating what pigs have been eating in nature forever is something you notice right away versus today's conventionally raised pork...the customer's couldn't get enough and it has turned into a very quick expansion of our Farm-to-Fork operations including a breeding and farrowing program, my kid's experiencing and doing many of the same things that I did as a kid, and my Wife and kids discovering that a pig is a beautiful, clean, loyal and intelligent animal that has brought hours of enjoyment ( and more hard work) into our lives! The pork is jucier, tastier cooks faster and with a terrific aroma and the Bacon is PHENOMENAL! We are VERY Proud of our Pigs!
